The foundation was laid years ago, when Clint’s father—affectionately known as Pops—faced a turning point in his life. After suffering a severe workplace injury that left him unable to continue in his role, Pops was offered vocational training as part of his severance package. Among the options, locksmithing stood out, and what started as a practical choice quickly turned into a passion. Pops found out that his mind was naturally wired for the intricate craft, and he fell in love with the art of locksmithing.

Not long after, Pops became a highly respected craftsman in the locksmithing community. Naturally, he was eager to pass down this newfound passion to his son, Clint. From a young age, Clint was fascinated with the trade. By the age of five, he was already cutting his first key, working alongside his father and soaking in the wisdom Pops had to share. Like his father, Clint showed an innate talent and curiosity for understanding the complex mechanisms of locks. Together, they took on every challenge with enthusiasm and determination.

Years later, Clint grew into his own as a locksmith, servicing clients across the state of Georgia. Around the same time, Pops felt a calling to start his own business, Accord Lock and Key. The two worked side by side, building the company and earning a reputation for finding solutions to even the toughest locksmithing challenges. Clint’s thirst for knowledge and constant drive to perfect his craft set him apart as a leader in the industry.

Eventually, Clint was presented with an opportunity in Atlanta that he couldn’t turn down, leading to the closure of Accord Lock and Key. Clint transitioned into this new role, carrying with him the clients and community trust that he and Pops had built together.

Years down the road, a new chapter began. By now, Clint and his wife had started a young family of their own. With faith, determination, and a shared vision, they founded Clint’s Lock and Key in 2015. Just as Clint had learned from his father, he took great pride in teaching his two sons the trade. Much like Clint’s own childhood memories of working with Pops, Clint’s boys have already begun walking in their father’s footsteps. Both can proudly say, “I cut my first key when I was five years old,” and it’s true. Their shared enthusiasm and natural talent mirror the family tradition that started with Pops.

Today, Clint’s Lock and Key stands as a testament to three generations of dedication, craftsmanship, and passion for the locksmithing trade. Family is at the heart of everything we do, and on any given day, you might find us riding together in the locksmith van—continuing to share knowledge, tackle challenges, and uphold the values that have guided us since the beginning.
